She has a great eye for design and she has an awesome ability to find great, lower-priced alternatives so that don't break the bank but that are still appropriate and that pull a room together. She loves what she does, and that translates through to her energy on the project. On top of that, she's got a great sense of humor and made both of my projects really fun to work on. Nina was able to make our project happen on budget and on schedule despite both of us working tremendous amounts and being incredibly opinionated. Nina Design Company is a multidisciplinary design studio located in the heart of Berkeley, California. Led by founder and lead designer Nina Yasavul, our studio specializes in crafting personalized interior, product, and experiential design solutions that are truly unique.
Drawing on her extensive background in both art and design, Nina brings a passion for storytelling to every project she undertakes. She holds a BA in Arts and Design from Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Turkey, where she completed a joint program with the renowned Domus Academy Milano. After relocating to the Bay Area, she founded Nina Design Company to share her unique perspective with the local community.
